It's happened again; the New York Times columnists are stealing ideas from my postings. This time it's Paul Krugman. (I did like the line about going straight for the capillaries, though.)

Howard Frant

After getting a BA in linguistics, and working in local government, I got a master's degree and then a Ph.D. in public policy from the Kennedy School at Harvard. I taught at the University of Arizona (Public Administration and Policy) in Tucson, then at the University of Haifa (Political Science) in Israel. While in Israel, my symptoms from multiple sclerosis began to interfere with my ability to do research and I took a leave of absence (unofficial for complicated bureaucratic reasons) and returned to the US.
